I recently bought my first drum machine. The Boss DR-3. It took me a while to figure out how to program it. Its not easy, but it sounds good. Given that the DR-3 has no MIDI out to upload programs to my PC to store them, I decided to program on my PC and download them to the DR-3. I use the STEP REC feature and set my PC to be the controler. So if I record i.e. the INTRO, then VERSE A, then VERSE B, but I make a misstake recording VERSE B there I don't see a way to erase only VERSE B in one shot without having to go note by note. The only think I found was the STYLE ->CLEAR which deletes every thing, i.e. INTRO, VERSE A, B, & C, all of it. And I have to start all over again. What a bummer.
Does anyone have a better way of downloading MIDI to the DR-3. |

You can actually program on your computer & download to the DR-3? How are you doing that?
Did you ever get an answer to your question? You can delete Verse B only, via the menu on the dr-3. |
