Shipping CD's ...

how much does it cost to ship about 250 packaged CD's from one US destination to another...

and how about from the US to the UK?

i need to ship out 2 boxes of 250 in the US, and 1 box of 250 to the UK, and i wonder how much should i expect to be paying in shipping, and what size boxes i need.

if not, can anyone give me the approximate weight of each CD?

Shipping costs depend on the size and weight of the box. And those rates can flucuate, so don't count on information someone might have from months or years ago.

Go down to a local "Pack-and-ship"-type store, tell them what you're trying to do and they'll tell you how much it'll cost you...

Thanks Tim. I went to the USPS website, after finding the approximate weight per cd, and did a calculation of how much it will cost in the US...should be about 19-20 bucks media mail.

Still trying to find the most economical means of shipping to the UK
