Is this real drums with mics or drumagog?

It's hard to tell because of the poor mixing/mastering but I would say it's possible. What's wrong with using drumagog though? I'm an avid drumagog user, myself.

Drumagog rules, I agree, but this is band that want's me to record them, and I was listenning to past stuff that was recorded.

I just didn't like the drums feel, and the guitar feel extremely digital.

When you mean the mix is bad, did you mean overbassy and overcompressed?

Yes, I don't really dig their songs... but they want to record a new album, so maybe they have evolved in their style, maybe not, I will be able to tell you guys later, and thx for thx informations

Do you guys hear clipping in the bottom end or is it my system that just can't keep it up?

Sounds like it's way over driven in the bottom. Sounds distorted to me...wasn't sure if this was the sound they're looking for or what.
