Can roxul Rockwool be effectivly used as basstrap material?
my local neighborhood lumber store has alot of rockwool insulation in stock, can i simply bundle peices together and hang, like i would with 703 in corners to make effective bass traps, as well as aid in other freq absorbtion?

Roxul mineral wool comes in various densities, just like fiberglass does.
The sonic performance of rockwool and fiberglass, in similar densities, is virtually identical. So the short answer is yes. |
