listen to my christmassong made on BR1600

I made a Christmassong which can be downloaded at :

http://home.wanadoo.nl/ariefranken/nieuws/kerst.htm

The whole song is recorded at my BR1600CD. Did not use any extra gear, just the BR1600CD. And quess? This song is on the radio for about the whole week. Yesterday they played it three times. Till now is has been played for more than 10 times. If you download the song, please listen to the end. You hear a 50 person choir. I did record that with 5 microphones. We did make ourselves a video what will be on local television next week.
Please react on the song.

I like it, good mix. What mics did you use for the vocals?

I use the MXL 2001 microphone for the vocals and five Neumann KM-184 microphones for the choir. These 5 microphones I rented. They are very expensive.

Wow, I bet they were expensive to rent, but worth it. You did a great job with the recording and mix. I'm glad that you posted the link here, I rarely check the Mixing forum.

Wink

Sounds Great !

Thanks for posting that here....

it's nice to hear things that are done on the Boss recorder, listed in
the Boss Forum.

(I don't use the mixing forum).

I'm getting a BR1600 for Christmas. Actually bought it myself. I haven't even opened it up yet, but I'm really impressed with the features it has to offer. If it's as easy as the BR8 to use, I don't think I'll be getting very much sleep.
