FS: Tandberg Reel to Reel
Anybody interested in a semi-operational reel to reel? It was made by Tandbergs Radiofabrikk in Oslo, Norway. I believe the date of manufacture is 1966. It is a Model 64. I found some sites online selling this thing for $500.
Ok, one site. The unit powers up but the reels will not spin. I really don't know what's wrong with it. Could be a faulty tube - there's about a dozen of them in there! I thought it would be cool to make some recordings on a vintage 4 track. Unfortunately, I don't have the time or know how to fix this thing. Unit goes to best offer + shipping. It's pretty damn heavy so shipping should be around $30-40 (my best guess offhand). |
