MesaParkAudio-----what a deal?!

Has anybody checked these guys out? I just bought their audio editor for my PC for $15. It's clean, percise and easy. I'm thinking about investing in their mixer as well...............any suggestions?

If gear is only part of the equation..........will I get the same result from a $25 PC mixer (like MesaPark) as I would from a $100+ Cakewalk?

For example...if I lack the skills, my mix will sound like crap for $25 or $1000. But if I'm good......I can get good results with any mixer.

So, what do I look for.........what's the difference..........in pricing mixers.

I am not familiar with this brand, but 2 of the 3 user reviews at C-Net suggest it may not be the best software. Granted this is not enough information to make a great informed decision but that, coupled with the "unknown" brand, would make me think twice about tossing any money at their products.
