pretty good...

One thing obvious is the recording is rather harsh sounding.... too much EQ on the high end I guess....

Stavencrows is on a distinguished road
Good intro. Interesting vocal effects if that's how you want it, I was in two minds as to whether it was too much. The main problem I had was with the drums - I'm listening on headphones and they seemed a bit muffled - esp. snare. But as you said it's low budget - pity as it's pretty good.

First of all, thank you for listening!
I didnīt record this, it was another engineer...This was an 16bits, 44,1, thats why the highter frequencies sounds strange, the overheads whore out of phase...This i couldn't resolve The snare mic was over compressed...it had no puntch and had to mutch HH on them...so i was forced to use a low pass filter to cut the hight frequencies, thatīs why the snare is a little close...The voice was a choice to be that way.

Thank you for all your opinions...itīs allways good to hear your them!

You should have left the snare alone.... filtering them essentially traded one problem for a bigger one.

Other than that, maybe you should find someone to remix this for you, if the first engineer didn't please you. That's my advice. If someone's work isn't up to par you need to find someone else.

Thumbs up

wow...I like the tunes!....big and thick...but that's also where i have a nit with it....I think the high end is fine if you could just clear up and define the low and low-mids to get rid of the mud....the low end is always difficult and it is VITAL to get right for this type of music...ok...listening to "Mad Mumba" now....can hear where it could benefit from some high end work to add air...the toms are so thick and your level so hot I hear digital distortion (aka "clicks and pops")

Reminds me of Extreme....your vocal reminds me of someone too but I can't remember the name...anyway, I really enjoyed the listen...good stuff!

Cloneboy Studio - i didnīt quite understand your post(not speak english very well ). You think the mix is bad??or to find another recording engenier?? i did the mixing i just didn't record it...The band decided to chose the studio and the recording engenier and they choose me to mix and master it...
Sorry for my poor english
And that snare sound that bad??I just used the filter because ,belive me, that was to mutch HH on that...
MAC2 - Ups...i just can't hears the pops. Can you say me in witch music you hear it most??
About the air, when i hear this on some radios here, it sounded a little bit with out air, but in my monitors it didnīt sound that out of air.(absolute Zero - Spirit , Mackie HR824). Maybe my mix room has too mutch refletions on the highs...i must check this...Thanks..." low end is always difficult and it is VITAL to get right for this type of music" you bet...

Iīll review all the things youīve said.
Thanks for all, your opinions whore realy helpfull.
Cheers

I like the mix on the kit and bass, good relationships. The high end stuff is a bit brittle, but the mix as a whole sounds pretty good to me.
