Boss Br864...
I am considering buying this as a recording package from Samash.
What is everyone's opinion? Pros / Cons? Everyone's feedback is welcome... UHH |

I'm considering a purchase as well. Given I wanted Compact Flash, eight tracks and the ability to dump individual tracks to my PC (and price is an issue), I've narrowed it down to the BR-864 and the Fostex MR-8. I'm leaning more towards the Boss because of the drum machine. There are a number of differences between the two (card compatibility, data compression, quality of effects, etc) which have all been discussed. Do a search here and you'll get some good info.

Definitely go for the 864. It sounds great and is really simple to use.
Good Luck |
