Learning To Play The Keys - $200

I'm looking to learn to play the keys, so I don't want to spend thousands of dollars (just yet).

Any recommendations?

more info - I'll most likely upgrade next year after I know what I like/want. But here are few things driving my ideas:
  • on-board speakers
  • tons of sounds
  • "standard" size and feel of keys
  • MIDI
  • interfaces with computer (recording or dowloading more sounds)
  • tutorials or light up keys (maybe cool for a week, then I'm sure its a waste, so not that important)

I'm a guitar player... blues, jazz, classic rock to beck, incubus, & willie nelson

Check out the Yamaha PSR Series. Very nice features, feel and sound.

I was actually looking at the Yamaha PSR-273 and PSR-293 this weekend at Guitar Center. Good to know!

Is there anything that I could compare to the PSR series?

Thanks!

Yamaha also makes the DGX series. I have seen new DGX-202's (76-key) selling around my area for $250. For lower-end keyboards, the Yamahas really are amongst the finest. Plus they usually have learning facilities built in (Chord Encyclopedia etc.).

DGX series is good, I have the 505 and it's great!
