convert to mp3

Who knows this problem?When I try to convert my project(Cool Edit session)
into mp3 format ,vocal sound getting worse (more low and flutter),but background sound is good and in session sound good for both vocal and music.
Thanks for any advice.

try this as an alternative.
mixdown to stereo master wave format in cool and save,
then drag the wave file over LAME (an mp3 encoder you can get from hitsquad.com - also there are others like right click mp3 i think is another.)
tell me if your hear improvement. peace

Thanks Manning.Now is much better.But anyway what it should be?It's small project ,and what will be for big one?

if you mean - is the problem in cool - i dont know.
i dont know how the tekkies programmed cool.
just best to use your ears.....pretty cool here right now - had a snow storm !

The better question is, What level of MP3 are you encoding at? If you're running a session of .wav files and exporting to MP3, you're going to suffer some sound quality. However, if you're exporting to anything under 192kbps, you're going to audibly notice the difference immediately.

I doubt it's a problem with Cool Edit, it's most likely user error.
