Red face Cheap Mics! (Your pick!)

Hey guys, a super-newbie question for ya:

I'm looking to expand my home studio with a couple more cheap dynamic mics, but I'm not sure which to get. I want something to use primarily for micing instrument cabs/combos, but want something versatile enough to work for vocals in a pinch (if possible). I'm not as picky on the vocal end of the spectrum, seeing as I'm a mediocre singer personally, and don't mind using "forgiving" mics. Low noise is more important to me than super-high sensitivity.

Some mics I've been thinking about so far:

- AKG D9000's
- Behringer XM8500's
- Peavey PVi2's

But anything within that price range (sub $70-$80) is fine. Let me know what you think!

I can't remember the actual brand name but this summer when i was doing some live work with a friend, he was using senheizer? (sp?) anyways they were pretty awsome mics too, a good aternative to the shures

i think beyer has some low priced mics as well. i like beyer mics. might be worth checking them out. also check out the cad gxl. only 50 bucks.
but you need 48volt phantom power in a mixer to run them.
zzounds.com and music123.com have a number of mics under 80 bucks.
just check the user reviews.peace.

SM57. Also, there is a $10 rebate from shure's website right now. It's effective till the end of the year.

3) a third SM57
