Mac 7600/132

I just found out my office is getting rid of a Mac 7600/132. It looks old, and i'm not sure how easy it would be to upgrade it, but is this something worth thinking about for recording or is it just too outdated. I'm just looking to record at most 8 tracks simutaneously and playback like 24.....
