ok, i have finally gotten around to dropping a cd. it's going to be a double cd. one side with my boy's and the other with mine. a lot of shit has happened in the past 6months, so i haven't broken it down and had it mixed and mastered right by a pro. these joints are fresh out of a living room studio mixed down by me. the other side is mixed down by my other partner.

i've recorded like 45 tracks and my damn external harddrive crashed with the masters to all of my songs, i had to go back to the drawing board so i'm only including 16 on my disk, the other disk contains about 12.

i'm puttin these in mom and pop stores and i'm selling them out of the trunk, but i'm offering them to the homerecording fam for free, limited time only.

i just officially moved to baltimore maryland, and i'm trying to get the feel of the area, i think i'm going to use kinko's to print up the cd covers. i appreciate the love from everyone who is interested in checking out my material. i'm selling this double cd for $10, but i'm more than happy to give it away to any of my homerecording peeps. i've been recording songs for a while, but this is my first full cd.

i think one of the hardest parts was weeding through like 60 songs and picking only a third of them. whatever areas you decide to give me feedback in, whether it's pertaining to instrumentation or verbal content, please make it honest.

also, i was finalyzing the cd the same day that i was moving, my playlist is off by one, i have some typo's, and one of the songs have the hook copied and pasted twice during the intro and outro of the last 16 bars. it was a last minute edit i was trying to do after the song was already mixed down, and i didn't catch it.

i'm going to fix everything once i get all of my equipment up and running again.

everything was recorded from an audio technika 4055, into behringer mixer, into a 2.5 gig processor computer that is running windows xp. the beats that were made by me came straight from fruity loops. the songs were mixed down in cubase sx 2.0 using some regular home stereo speakers.

the setup was good enough to give us something marketable as far as selling out of the trunk. i can't wait to move up to the next level in equipment and sound.

this cd is also unmastered.
