EQ setting on Cakewalk

I want ask some about EQ or HZ....I know all my earing will do this but some times we need ask this kind of questions from experianced peoples, who doing every day & every hours..Now, i have recorded KICK, SNARE, Hi-hat Streengs & more..I want add HZ or Gane or Q, on my instruemnts, but i dont know how how much i need add HZ let say for KICK or snare or others..Please just give me little start, & maybe i will do next by me.....Thanks

This will get you started. Each instrument requires different EQ. If you have each instrument on a different channel, you will be fine. If you've got stuff combined (like the different drums) - you will be limited in what you can do.
