Eurorack opinions?

I just purchased a small UB802 on ebay for the phantom power and the pre outs, I plan on using a MXL V63M condenser to mic out my instruments (what can i say, im cheap) but i wanted some second opinions on what would sound the best over all.. if there are any better alternatives that dont bring the budget up above 150$

Erm...probably not at that price level. Do you already own the mic or are you planning to buy it ?

You might find a bigger UB board used for $150. They are not great by any stretch as preamps (They're not horrible though). But if you don't need the additional mixing capabilities, I would recomend buying a Preamp such as PreSonus Stereo BlueTube, or something out of the JoeMeek line (Go used and you'll probably get even more powerful features...units like DigiTube or even a Focusrite unit that has better compressors, and EQs, connectivity, etc.).
