Cakewalk 8 bundles into Sonar 4

I can pull in the bundles and it shows the wave data for each track, the balance, the volume, and the track name....all as it should.
But it will not play the audio, nor will it give me an option to set an output on the Delta card.

So, after a bit of experiementing, I uninstalled Sonar, reinstalled, cakewalk 8, and reinstalled sonar and let it migrate.

If I open a bundle in cakewalk 8, save it, and then open that wrk file in Sonar, then everything works just fine.

Is there a way to eliminate that step of using Pro 8? Not that I mind, it's worth it to get things updated, but dang....the porting into Sonar should be seamless...or one would think.
