when working on a song, and say your finished and want to come back to the song later you need to save your song. bun - if i remember correctly.
then when you come back ..someone else correct me if i'm wrong as its been awhile. you load back in by opening the bun file again.
(READ YOUR HELP FILE).
to get an mp3 of your song once all the tracks are recorded. you must then instruct cakewalk to do a stereo mixdown. this will be in wave format and can be burnt to cd by a burning program eg....nero ...if your version of cake does not have cd burning as a feature. to create an mp3 it sounds like you can do this within cake(read the help). or if you dont know how to do this.
get a hold of lame ...a free mp3 encoder and using the mouse drag
the stereo mixdown file in the folder over it and it will create an mp3.
lame can be found at hitsquad.com.
