EQ downloads

I visited the sites one of you recommended for the freebie EQ plugins and d/l the zip files, unzipped them, and placed them in the Cakewalk FX folder. I cannot seem to get them to pull up in my FX when in Cakewalk. What am I missing? Anyone?

Thanks!

You need to run the VST manager to scan for the new plugins and register them.

I am not at home right now, so I do not recall the exact name of the app, but you will find it in the Cakewalk start menu

Question

Thanks for the suggestion. I looked this weekend all over the place for the VST manager in Cakewalk HS 2002 XL. Not finding it. In Windows explorer, the .dll files did appear in the same folders as some other effects I use, so It occurred to me that perhaps CWHS2002 doesn't support VST, only DirectX? Maybe that's why they're not pulling up in the FX box as available effects?
