Bought some Behringer MS-16 monitors and need upgrade ideas

And as you migh guess, they are not all that red-hot. Not bad for the price, but definitely a step below the consumer-level Altec Lansing system that I use for casual listening on my PC. In all fairness the Altec system does have two tweeter elements and a heavy sub so it has a real advantage over the B' speakers right off the bat.

Anyway, the B' speakers have really decent housings and controls and will hold up well in that department as I intend to use them as part of a portable rig using a Behringer Eurorack UB1202 Mixer and MR-8 for live recording. I just wanted a powered monitor that could suffer being knocked around and provide a source for immediate playback of the MR-8 data.

So, what I am getting at is this.... what are some decent drivers I can stuff into the B' housings? Thay have a 4" (100mm) woofer and a 1.5" (38mm) tweeter at 4 ohms each. I am sure some other devices would perform better. Any hot ideas?
