Hi,

Normalization -- Do I or the Mastering Engineer do this?

Eventually, after burning my stuff on a CD, I will send it to an engineer to master it. Do I send him the normalized or the unnormalized one?

Best regards,
Al

Just get a good mix with levels during normal parts not dropping below -8db and you'r all good. let he or she normalize and all that cuz mastering just isn't about squeezing hot levels on each song but more or less how each song flows.
