Midi Sync Vegas and Reason/Acid?

I want to use midi sync to sync vegas with reason, and also to sync vegas with acid. I can't seem to figure out how to do either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Are you talking about Sony Vegas? Which version are you using. I've got 5.0, let me fiddle with it and see what I can come up with.

midi sync ive found is a pain. always has been.
ive used it between computers, betweeen computers and tape machines
etc. but if you want to try it. you set up one as master and other as slave.
within one pc i'm not sure how well it will work running two dofferent software packages at the same time. however you might luck out.
i would be more inclined from my computer background to try running vegas one one pc and say reason or acid on another then try and sync the two together. imho if you have lots of tracks and your syncing between two different software packages you better have a pretty powerfull pc to do it. there is also the issue of one recording package wanting command and control over the sound card on the pc thus the other one cant get usage.
i admit to not being an expert in this area. so i would contact vegas, reason, and acid tech support personnel. maybe they know some tricks i'm not aware of. as i said you just might luck out from trial and error.
peace.
