roland to cd?

ok so is it better to go from my roland vs-880ex to computer, then burn to cdr, OR just purchase the custom VS serious cdr from roland and do it that way. the computer option seems way cheaper, but is there an inherent advantage to using roland's own cdr for mixing down and making multiple cd copies without having to tansfer all my songs to wav files???

The main advantage to transferring tracks into your computer would be mixing and mastering if you have some good software to do it. The results are incredible. If you just want a rough demo then burn the disc straight from your 880.

There's a huge advantage in transfering songs to the computer in WAV files, and it's much easier than having to mix everything down to 2 tracks on the 880 in order to burn a CD.

The main advantage to buying the Roland CD-R is BACKUPS. With CD-RW discs in the $3 range it can't be beat for backing up song data.
