Sub-Mixing - Home Recording

I have a Porta 02 and am think of buying the Mackie 1202 VLZ-PRO. I would use that to record onto the Tascam. Could I then use that as a mixer out of the Porta 02 then into my computer to add effects with Sonic Foundry XP.

Any Help that involves Sub-Mixing Would be of Help.
