when i recorded my wave or mp3 from comp lineout and got it into tape it sounded so scattering!should i use compressor or other way?

I'd investigate the output connections from your sound card or the input connections to your tape machine, because your .mp3 files sound GREAT!!! My Awe32 eventually became unusable because of a faulty line-out jack. It continued to have the same capabilities internally.
