my mr-8 is spazing

whenever i try to copy something to the clipboard on my mr-8 it like either goes back to the screen that you see when you start it up, like when it tells you what CF card your using, or it just freezes and doesnt respond when i try to turn it off, so i end up having to unplug it.

DrummerDude: Check the version number of the operating system when it boots, and see if there is a newer version on the fostex website. If there is try re-flashing the operating system.
Heck if there isn't see if it will let you re-flash anyway.

sounds like the mr8 doesnt have enough memory to complete the action, are you using the original card or an aftermarket...how much time is left on the card?

you might want to try and reformat the card also....


just as an after though, i never tried to copy and past with the mr8, i move the tracks to the pc and edit in n track, highligt copy and past just like anyother program...

you must be a patient person to go through all there is to copy and past parts on the mr8 .... i envey your persistance and personal fortitude to do this,
