Design my Tele!

I just picked up a tele (copy) off of ebay. Very nice, made of African mahogony and walnut. It is routed for two humbuckers. I play mostly 70's classic rock. I'm just putting this out there for ideas on types of pickups to use, whether to have the classic tele 3 way switch with one volume, one tone in line, or other ideas. Also what type of bridge? I have some ideas, but would like to expand my brainstorm to others. Thanks!!
P.S. I don't have a neck yet either so any ideas for that concerning woods and style would be welcome also.

I have always wanted to try using a humbucker with 4 leads in the neck with a nice twangy bridge pick up then wire with either an added mini toggle or possibly a 5 way switch so I could get the standard tele sounds, then add in bridge+humbuck neck and also just humbuck neck.

To me, if it works, this seems like the ultimate tele.

These guys have lots of very good parts, including necks, at pretty good prices.

I'd put a Seymour Duncan SH-4 (also called TB-4) Trembucker in the bridge and combine it with a Duncan SH-2 Jazz-Neck pickup.

This is Seymour Duncan's personal favorite combo of his pickups and there's a good reason for that... because it smokes everything else out there.

I put both of these pickups in my '80 G&L F-100 and it's the tone sounds like it came from God himself.

Go here and give it a listen: http://www.seymourduncan.com/website...tml#JB153Model

See if you can find a used pair of Rio Grande humbuckers on eBay.

EMG 81 in the bridge...58 in the neck position. then sand the finnish off the neck and do an oil finnish.

Very Important, do not forget to install a White Parsons B bender.
