I'm Taking my BR 1600 out saturday night to record our band live at a halloween party I'll be playing and recording, does anybody have any tips or tricks for live use? I've got great results at home with this thing by myself. Will this machine pause ? I can only see play and stop.I'll just have to use the auto-cal at the beginning and remember to store at break time I guess.

There was a guy over at VS-Planet that recorded bands live with a BR-1600. Check out this thread http://www.vsplanet.com/ubb/ultimate...;f=14;t=001154 or at http://topsoundproductions.home.att....av-maker-1600/

Yeah I looked at top hat before good stuff. Any way we set up the stuff tonight for the dance tomorrow night. We did a run through of the monster mash and I did some auto cal and manual levels and the BR took some tweaking but i had it sounding good by the end this is gonna be fun!!!

See this article:
http://topsoundproductions.home.att....production.htm WAV-MAKER-1600 makes it extremely easy to do post production of the songs (creation of WAV files for each song (and track) seperately). All you need is a footswitch to start/stop recording between each song.
