sense is on a distinguished road
old software new computer clash

I have been hearing that there has been strange errors popping up everywhere in Pro Tools, Cubase and Cakewalk to those who are using the "latest and greatest machines" Does this hold as a possible correlation or is it false association?

Burden of Proof is an unknown quantity at this point
like most things, it depends...

hardware / software conflicts pop up all the time. The easiest thing to do is ask about a particular combination, or try searching about it. Some things don't like hyperthreading, or VIA chipsets, or other such things...

I don't think it's a 'new computers are more prone to problems' issue, just 'different parts don't always play nice', regardless of new vs. old.

anyway, just another 2¢
