CUBASE sx 2.0 RECORDING PROBLEMS
Can anyone help. I'll record my instrumental to track one and then when I go to record my vocal onto track two it records what I've recorded on track one to track two. Can anyone tell me what I've done wrong?

Make sure you are taking your signal directly from your inputs on the soundcard/interface rather than possibly a mixed input buss from somewhere else.
You set your input bussing as part of your configuration for a project.

#1 - Open up the Windows volume control's Recording Preferences and unclick anything like "What You Hear". Only leave the "line-in" checked.
#2 - Chuck the Soundblaster and get a real audio card... |

I can't believe someone would spend $600 on audio software and use it with a SoundBlaster card.....
That wouldn't make sense. |
