Artcore Talman + Behringer X V-Amp + Fostex MR8

This is my equipment:

- Ibanez Artcore Talman TM-71 ( semi-hollow )
- Behringer X V-Amp ( similar to V-Amp 2 )
- F O S T E X M R 8

( also have Alesis QS7 Synth and Alesis D4 Drum module )

This question is for those who have an X V-Amp or V-Amp 2 and Fostex MR8.

What is the best way to get the best direct recording sound possible from this equipment: X V-Amp + FOSTEX MR8 ?

settings in both units, etc.

THanks.

mr8

i think the best way is to set up your pedals and get the sound you like coming from your guitar amp, and mic the amp with a sm 57 run through a mixer to help with the gain, then into the mr8....
