Arrow Reworked Our Website...What Do You Think?

Okay, well I've reworked our site to finally have some information that might actually help us and or the user. I'm still in the process of reworking the nav to be a more legible font, and include some sections like photo's, a freakin' home page button...that kind of stuff.

Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think. I'd love to hear any suggestions or ideas.

Thanks!
Robert Tait

Hey, thanks for checking it out!
I'm assuming you're referring to the image broken into tables. An image map is when you actually only have one image with several links (kind of) superimposed over the top. An image map should add next to nothing to the download time...but (and obviously) having the site, little more than broken out graphics, WILL take a few seconds if you're not on a high speed connection. I was going for a postcard/billboard look, and well, straight up HTML isn't going to be able to do that, and a Flash site would just take too long to develope for what it's worth...IMO.

Thanks for the "Clean" comment.

(by the way, the photos button does nothing yet)

what do you think? better nav font than on the other pages (i.e. http://www.roberttait.com/band.html )?

Ah, When I visit the site wherever the mouse hovers the cursor changes to a hand, as if the entire page is a link.

The new font is way better.

hey cool, thanks for checking back again. That big link your talking about is on the pages with out the home page button. basically, I just took that big graphic that says "robert tait"on it, and made that link to the home page. It shouldn't be on the 2 current pages with the new nav...or if it is, it needs to be fixed

thanks!
tait
