MR8 Power supply/adaptor details required

Hi Fostex Forums,

I have just purchased a 2nd hand Fostex MR8 Digi-8 track.
Unfortunately it has arrived without the mains adaptor.
Can anyone out there please tell me the exact spec for the mains adaptor required (UK)????
I know the name of the fostex supplied one - but I believe a cheaper and easier option would be to buy a multi purpose adaptor from an electrical store....so I need to know exactly which type to buy.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Power supply is called Model AD-12A from Fostex.
Input: 120V 60Hz 12W
Output: DC 12V 600mA

Power jack is + to pin and - to body. Approximately .218 inches in diameter with .072 socket for pin

One small correction: for UK, a mains adaptor needs to be 230 V, 50 Hz, 600 mA, 12 V DC output, plus to center pin, minus to outer pin. You may be able to obtain one directly from Fostex UK, but Monacor makes a range of mains adaptors priced very modestly, and you may be able to obtain one that suits your needs just as well...
