Godsmack's Acoustic Cd, Drum Sound...

I recently picked up Godsmack's sorta-new acoustic CD. I really like the drum sound on this album. I do a lot of acoustic work (can't play electric guitar worth a crap) and I'd like to know how they got that drum sound...it works extremely well with the acoustic rock vibe. Anybody know how they got it? It sounds like it might be triggers.
