ART Pro Channel Pre-Amp/Compressor: YEA or NAY?
$300 on muscians friend.
$260 if I buy the bleminised one. With the NRC Compressor I already bought, if I buy this I would have good compression and pre-amp for my home studio. I'm on a budget and this looks like a good alternative. Buy it or something else (for the same price)??? |

I would look elsewhere.....The Groove Tubes "Brick" Mic pre sounds way better and it's all tube. For 400.00 including shipping at macmidimusic. Which I got mine there. It sounds great!

I have read favorable reviews.
Rip Rowen at ProREc liked the Art Pro Channel quite a bit.
I have not heard much good spoken about the Pro MPA however. Also ...... I have never heard the Pro channel myself ...... but for the price and it being a complete channel strip ..... it cant be THAT bad. -mike
