Fantastic mate,

I enjoyed that

I would have liked the intro solo there though but I am not complaining it was good stuff, nice to hear a metal version of my fave band.

thanks for posting it, comfortably numb next?

Holy shit...the heavy part is incredibly good. It's all well done, and it really sounds well balanced to me...but the singer sets this apart from most home recordings. Hey, can you go into any detail about the kit? Specifically, how did you treat the snare...there is like almost NO variation in the snare, and the more I listen, the more I think the kick could be a little meatier, but the rest of the kit sounds so good I keep thinking they're fake drums, lol. That's a compliment, by the way.

Turn the bass up about 3db.

I think the drums are a little muffled...(perhaps over compressed?). I'd slow the attack on them a bit because it appears the transients have been a little too controlled...stifling the sharpness of the hit. It makes for the hit sounding like it was recorded through cotton as well as a bit of "sameness" of playing. Everything at one level...it's a bit unnatural. Allow the snap to come through...at least for a little bit. If it's killed by a compressor, it cannot be made up w/ eq.

Other than that, interesting arrangement to a rock standard, good performances around.

Best-

K-

Holy shit...I hate you

the only part of this that doesn't scream "pro" to me is the ride cymbals panned hard left.
