Question

I currently have a Sony MZ-R30 recorder, but I find it a little clumsy to use. For instance, you always have to make sure you press the End Track button before you make a recording to avoid overwriting what you've already recorded. Another thing is that you cannot adjust the recording level while recording.

I'm looking for a new recorder which is easier to operate, and that have some more professional features. Have any of you found a non-compromise solution to MD field recording?

Thumbs up

I use a Sharp MT-831 which I ordered in from Minidisco. It's a fantastic unit and allows the recording level to be set while recording. It will also append any new recordings as new tracks and won't overwrite your existing recordings. I can definitely recommend this unit.

It also has super long battery life.

Cool

Yo:

For sound, the best recorders are made out of OLIVE WOOD.

I couldn't resist the pun.

Excuse please,
Green Hornet
