You've got a great topic going on the flipside of this Dragon. So I'll pose this question. Forgive me if it's already been asked (i'm too lazy to look) but try and pick YOUR most LOVED song. And keep the answers coming on the "most hated" thread- this is interesting...
O Yeah, I'll start it off with my 1st pick- I'll try to limit my entries to 3 or 4. CROSBY, STILLS, & NASH "DEJA VU". [This message has been edited by kmar (edited 07-12-2000).] [This message has been edited by kmar (edited 07-12-2000).] |

"Baker, Baker" by Tori Amos.
Lovely tune, and the lyrics exactly captured how I felt and what had happened to me. I tell ya, EXACTLY. Just Switch "He" to "she". ![]() "I guess you heard he's gone to LA. He says that behind my eyes I'm hiding and he tells me I pushed him away, that my hearts been hard to find. Here, there must be something here. There must be something here. Here." |

I've never bought a Billy Joel record, and never will. But that IS a great song. It's produced very well. Has that "10CC effect". Good choice.

I'll agree with 'More Than a Feeling'. I wore out at least two singles (45 rpm records for you tadpoles) when that song hit. I'd just set it to play over and over.

"For Free" by Joni Mitchell on "Ladies of the Canyon".
Just kinda brings everything all back home after all this greedy RIAA, Big Label, filthy stinkin' rich no-talent "recording artist", computer music, bulls--t! I listened to that song last night and it brought tears to my eyes. |

Hixmix- Right on with Joni Mitchell. Yes, the good old days when PEOPLE played the licks, not silicon chips.
Lambo- You're gonna get creamed for admitting tou like SEALS & CROFT. I had their first record and liked it alot. That's one I would like to have on cd again. As I remember, their production was very interesting. I think there were several good tunes on that record. [This message has been edited by kmar (edited 07-26-2000).] |

Awesome intro, great lyrics, cool riffs, crazy lead guitars... Yummie. Only bad thing is that Arya's vocals sound a bit too mellow. |
