Hey, I'm pretty proud of myself...I've written lyrics to over 200 songs, and not once have I rhymed "Love" with "Above"...
Anybody else hate this as much as me? |

This is suggesting that you write alternative lyrics-proportionally how many of those songs would you say were decent?

Whenever I hear the word 'higher' at the end of a line , you can bet 'desire' isn't very far behind!

Krystof01:
If your idea of being an alternative writer is not rhyming "Cliched" lyrics, then I guess I am...My lyrics are an alternative to the Hallmark-Card line of writing a sentiment...How many of my lyrics are "decent"? That's a very subjective question that only those who read them can comment on..I personally won't write songs if I do not like the lyrics I have with it. My poetry sometimes works well as lyrics too. (My main influence being Bob Dylan). I posted my poetry at: www.starlitecafe.pair.com Type in "Dougly" under poets, and you will see some poems I use as lyrics to songs as well...Then if you don't think they're decent, at least I gave you a way to check them out! ![]() Hope you like them, though...
