computer and roland vs1824

i have had my vs1824 for a while and i just got a new computer and im tryng to figure out what kind of cable do i need?? so i can have the vs1824 in synch with my computer and dispaly the effects and what im recording and so on.... im going pc buy the way..

You, sir, are in for a long week, because the VS1824CD doesn't do that. Do a search on VS1824CD. We've had extensive discussions on the Roland Forum on track export. I believe your answer is NFW.-Richie

I think you can hook it up with vspro (midi/external software)

I had a VS-880, my son has a VS-1824 and you can't control the VS-1824 with VS Logic. VS Logic is useless and only shows MIDI options, the SCSI jack is for external CD burner or ZIP drive for backup.
