I have them, and the mixes translate beautiful to all other systems. Which is what it's all about.

I bought the KRK Rokit Powered 8s. They are my first set of real monitors. I previously used either my home stereo or headphones to mix. I am very happy so far with my KRKs. They sounded the best to me when I auditioned then at Guitar Center amongst other monitors they were selling in my price range (under $500/pair).

over here in the UK they are not as well known...but still respected ...
i like the way they make everything so up front and seporated...i have some recordings i cant listen to on them as they pick up all the bad stuff too!! ...whihc is good of corse ![]() have not heard the rocket powered but i would emagin they are the best you can get for that price and sertanly make a cool first set...

i'm considering either the v4's or v6's
how is the low end on the v4's? i tried a pair of v6's out today and loved them. far clearer than the RP8's. i also like the idea of kevlar cones for better life. |
