Online Voice Lessons?

WHats the best way to learn how to sing better (rock style) without a voice teacher? Are there CDs or anything else you can recomend? I can sing a little bit but I can definitely use a lot of help.

Thanks

Best thing you can do for your singing is improve your air. The best way to do that is to run wind sprints on the track. Aside from that, practice is your next best friend. Practice singing scales forward and backward. Practice singing soft and singing loud. Practice different origins for creating sound e.g. from your chest, your throat or your nose. Practice in different room environments and with different microphones. Practice matching your tones with different musical instruments e.g strings, winds or percussion. If you don't know music theory, learn it and then practice some more. Try your library for books on singing, there should be many. Read them and then more practice, practice and practice...

Roger Love's book "Set your voice free" helped me out alot, theres some help on breathing, and it comes with a cd that has some scales to practice.

Its definatly worth the $20.00

Talking

Voice lessons on line?

Kind of sounds like golf lessons over the phone.
