Studio Projects C1 + ADK A51 Comparisons

Anyone use the ADK and C1 and can make some comparisons between the two? They're both in the same price range.

Which ADK A51? There are (have been) many of them. I like the TL, A48 and TT, but those are more expensive. The newer Hamburg and Vienna mics look interesting, based on clips I've heard. Haven't tried them yet.

The one that's in the same price range. Whichever.

H2oskiphil is an unknown quantity at this point
I've got a C1 and a set of A-51 Type III's.

The 51 works pretty well for most voices, sax, and acoustic guitars.

The C1 is obviously a good male vocal mic. It's my first choice out of th elocker for vocals.

The 51 doesn't have the hyped mid-high end that the C1 has, so it tends to be a little more of a "swiss army knife" mic.
