Hi there,

I recorded a concert of one of my favorite bands on a MiniDisc player and have succesfully transferred everything to Cool Edit. Despite normalizing the wave to 90% of the max amplitude, whenever I go to save the files and burn them on a CD the levels go way down and it's barely audible when played back. Just for the record, I'm using Cool Edit on an NT machine and the CD burner is on a Mac so I'm converting to AIFF format. Is there something in the header about the levels that I can change or do you have any other ideas on possible causes/solutions for this problem? Thanks,

J
