Well I Found My Mixer!!!! No More Headache.

Things happened fast and furious for a few days, but I have made my mixer upgrade purchase. And the final choice was...........a SOUNDTRACS TOPAZ 24X8 with meter bridge. My apologies to Strryder, who was kind enough to offer me a Tascam M1600 for a very fair price, but I couldn't pass up the oppurtunity to pick this board up. Also thanks to Harvey Gerst, whom I spoke with for a bit today. BTW, there is a 32ch out there w/no meter bridge if anyone is interested... A definite influence was the fact that steve magalnick, who services these consoles, lives only 45 minutes from me. I just feel like this board will last me for a long time, and has more than enough for me to deal with without having to spend $3500+ on a Soundcraft or A&H. So much for baby steps. Man, this is a terrible addiction...but I like it!!

Alright, who has opinions on quality monitors??? After all, your board is really only as good as your monitors!!!
