Arrow Surround Receivers

I have recently built a home studio on somewhat of a budget. I was wondering if I could continue this trend and buy a home theatre 5.1 Receiver for monitoring the mix. I am doing PC based recording with SONAR and a Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum.

I was planning on using 1/8" to RCA analog connections for each channel (between the soundcard and the receiver). And using a USB digital mixer.

I have Boston Acoustics speakers that I'm using as monitors.

Just wondering if this is going to sound like crap, before i spend any money on it.
