APP is on a distinguished road
mixing and mastering "dance" music

wouldn't it be nice if some producers of the music meant to be played on large systems shared their tips on mixing? it's really a different ballgame isn't it? compensating for the fact that your mix will be played on an exaggerated soundsystem, kind of throws everything out of whack don't it? any engineers want to shed some light on how make these adjustments? what happens to sound when it's played over a system with massive bassbins? cause it sure as hell isn't a simple volume boost! anybody know of a forum where such bourgeious decadance is discussed?

1. buy the bob katz book.

2. take it to a mastering house.

oh and while you're at it, take it to a mixing and recording house as well. But make sure the recording house and mixing house is different that way you can get an objective sound.

Cloneboy Studio will become famous soon enough
I think the important thing is to mix it either 'bootylicous' or 'cosmic'.
