428 Only eight?
I'm running a Tascam us428 with the free Cubasis, and that's it. This is the first time I've done any of this since I sold my porta1 for food in college, so this may be a stupid question, but I can't find an answer anywhere.
I've used the first eight tracks already (guitar, bass, drums, keys...) and I need room for backing harmony (at least for more tracks audio). I changed the ninth preset track listing (Track1) to an audio track, but can't assign it to any channel higher than eight (ie. one in use). Surely there is a way to record more direct audio than eight tracks worth. If this were my old Porta1 I would bump down to make space, but I don't see how to here, and don't really want to. Any help or suggestions would be helpful. And suggestive. Thanks |

Cubasis and US 428
Hi littleingot,
I asked this in the official Cubasis forum about three years ago and the answer was that there's no way to use more than 8 tracks in Cubasis ! I currently use Cubase SX 2.2.35 (under XP pro) without problems and with much more traks Ciao Beppe |
