MD out of production!!!??

Hi guys.

I used for several years mini disc data and Yamaha MD4 to play samples on stage with my band and sending the click to the drummer's headphones via the direct out of one channel, it was simple, easy to do, now I've heard that MDrecorders are out of production so what can I use to do the same??

No other digital recorders have the direct outputs!!!

I am very disappointed...

yeah, surving thru cassettes..and digital tape (remember +DAC and DAT)..
anyway..yeah, I like MD and was surprised it didn't fly here in the US.

I was in Japan and it was everywhere, I heard Holland to yah.

MD is a great fhkng format. It's digital format, nice case to prevent scratching, small, re-recordable.....

I just posted on Computer recording, trying to find a PC recorder that works..

supposedly you can buy MD's around, I'm concerned about extinction of the Mini DATA discs needed.

They are hard to find. I bought a bunch from B&H Photo-Video.
