Proteus/1 Any Good Sounds At All?

I just picked up a Proteus/1 for $20. I thought it might have a couple good sounds on it. Hell, 1 good sound would make it worth $20. However, I think it kinda sounds awful. I didn't spend much time with it, but went through the presets and didn't hear one good sound. My Casio sounds better for piano and strings! Before I toss this on ebay (they are selling for around $70, so not a bad profit), can anyone tell me if maybe I'm overlooking some use for this? Anyone have better luck getting good sounds out of it? Or is it not worth spending a couple hours on? Better off just selling it? Is there a unit that sells second hand for around $75 that I would be better off with? Any thoughts at all before I unload this?

yeah, I've spent a little more time with it now. It's crap. I hear it was a nice unit in '89, but I don't see how. It's really cheesy.

Timmy2000 is on a distinguished road
It's a scary thought, but it honestly wouldn't surprise me if in 5 years time those late 80's sound come back in fashion and end up on every major pop release.....
